Kenny Chesney toured every summer since his 2001 Greatest Hits tour. So it came as a surprise that he took 2014 off feeling the need to reboot and focus on creating music from his soul. He has won country music ACM, CMA AMA awards as a performer, but also Billboard Touring Awards Top Package Tour year after year, with the last two being Brothers of the Sun with Tim McGraw and his No Shoes Nation Tour. In 2014 he received a Groundbreaker Award for innovation, excellence and expanding the genre as the 21st century’s biggest country ticket seller at the first ever American Country Countdown Awards.
He is back and raring to go. Expect a variety of venues and variety of support teams for his summer 2015 concerts with mega concerts in stadiums, indoor shows in arena and outdoor amphitheater concerts throw in too.
All of the mega 2015 concerts are on the weekends in outdoor stadiums or ballparks with either Jason Aldean and or Eric Church as co headliner and Brantley Gilbert the main support and others rotating in. With these shows there should be lots of room for all the Kenny Chesney fans. Sandbar and Field tickets will be the prime time seating. Even with all those seats, you can expect sell outs or close to sell outs at each venue, if past history is worth anything!
Indoor arena shows are the next style of concerts on tap for 2015 and will mostly be mid week shows. Jake Owen and Chase Rice are the main support team for these shows. Prime seats will be those hot selling Floor Tickets but in Arenas you can get Lower Level Sections right next to or near the stage. No matter if you talking Upper Level or Lower Arena sections around the Arena or Center you can expect a sell out, or close to it.
Kenny is also going to take his tour to a variety of summer outdoor amphitheater style venues with reserved seats under a pavilion or canopy and lots of Lawn tickets where fans bring their blankets or beach style lawn chairs. These venues are smaller than the other to so subject to quick sell outs. Sometimes he will be by himself and others he may have Chase Rice or another support act with him. These shows are usually rain or shine and most do not allow umbrellas,

When are Kenny Chesney tickets on sale?
For this tour, Kenny is releasing tour dates in stages, first was the 10 stadium concerts with Jason Aldean, and even these ticket sales are not being released at them same time. Then the Eric Church dates were added and released over a couple of weeks. Second shows may be added in over time, you have to keep checking back. Arena concerts and other bigger venues are being added gradually. Most of the outdoor amphitheater shows usually are announced in January or February when the outdoor venues begin to announce the artists they booked for the season.
Once a concert date is announced it is usually anywhere from one to three weeks before the public sale begins. This is when many fans will be glued to their computers or mobile devices ready to click away to grab their tickets. Others will use websites with resale rights to get tickets in the sections they want before the public sale begins and without the time pressure. Some will wait until the last minute, and then you take what you can get. Often the resale market has better choices when you get closer to the concert dates, but you pay a bit more.
